The exquisite sculpture series is an intimate exploration of pure artform. These sculptural gems are parts of a whole. Many are hundreds of years old and show their weathered beauty. The beautiful tones, form, and textures with all their imperfections reveal a wealth of detail. Although a combination of bronz, granite, and sandstone, these sculptures take on many life like qualities. To add to the warmth, I have chosen to sepia tone the Black and White prints. This portfolio will be ongoing as I encounter the opportunity to photograph more of this beautiful art. |

China is a country rich in culture and history. Currently it is undergoing rapid economic and cultural change. As with any change, it is experiencing both positive and negative impact. As modernization occurs, some of the tradition is lost. As this portfolio evolves, I hope to present the unique beauty of China and its people from my perspective. |
